THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
With Indian parents came exposure and many visits to the Indian sub-continent, the birthplace of meditation & yoga.
I developed a love for all things Indian and especially yoga & meditation (food obviously) and have been a practitioner for many years. As someone who has benefited first-hand from daily practice of both disciplines to bring calm, peace, creativity, compassion and much more into my life, that I decided to become a teacher of meditation. I truly believe - as do hundreds of millions - this daily practice is the key to a happy and successful life both at home and work.
I’m especially interested in how meditation can transform the vibe at the workplace to one that is more wholesome and nurturing, which in turn brings so many benefits not only to employees but the world as a whole.
I learnt to become a meditation teacher with Deepak Chopra and his team and with that comes something very important - a direct lineage of teaching. Deepak spent a significant amount of time with The Maharishi Mahesh yogi, the originator of Transcendental Meditation and that knowledge has been passed down directly to me. I’m truly blessed and grateful for the connection.
I’m on a mission ‘with a little help from my friends’ to bring these techniques into the workplace and to individuals.
I am a highly experienced executive within the various fields of Digital Communications. Having spent the last 20+ years in the media/tech/advertising world, I have an innate understanding of the industry and the challenges of a ‘work hard, play hard’ culture which can easily lead to burnout. A bit of self care and time out for wellbeing are so important for a long and fulfilling career. This is what I’m hoping to bring to the industry and beyond. Linkedin Bio
